Jackson Hole in September is something close to perfect: aspens just beginning to turn, cool clear mornings, and the Tetons standing over everything. Avery and Knox chose it for their wedding, and Elizabeth Kelleher of In Any Event planned a weekend that let the valley do what it does best.
It began in town with a night at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, two-stepping and laughing, then stealing a few quiet moments under the famous antler arches on the town square.
On Saturday they married in an aspen meadow at Snake River Ranch with the mountains behind them. Lily and Company designed the day, Canvas Unlimited raised the tent, Hughes Production lit it, and Objet West supplied the pieces that made it feel like a ranch house dining room. Genevieve Catering served dinner by candlelight.
Between ceremony and dinner we walked the ranch fences at golden hour, the best light of the whole weekend. Then Élan Artists brought the band and the night took off, ending with a send-off in the back of a pickup truck. Moonstone Pictures filmed it all.
